Design-New Technology-Mac Book Air
Mac Book Air can Enhance many lessons at Qatar Academy but the one lesson i chose was Humanities. In Humanities you can use the Mac Book Air at your desk. Instead of the teacher passing papers around, the teacher can just e-mail you the assignment and then you can e-mail it back. This way you don't waste paper and it's also environmentally friendly. Using the Mac Book Air is also has an advantage in watching videos. Usually you would move all of your chairs towards a T.V and then watch the movie. The Mac Book Air can wirelessly rent videos from the apple store, or you can just watch the movie on your laptop by opening an e-mail sent to you by your teacher. The thing i like best about having the Mac Book Air in the classroom is that instead of reading books, you can look at websites and read from there. The websites can also have moving images that can tell you what will happen. The Mac Book Air is also very light and can easily be carried around from class to class, you can just put it in your bag without noticing a thing. The internet on the Mac Book Air is also very fast and also the range is quite wide so you can access the internet from anywhere in the school. The Mac Book Air also comes with amazing softwares such as garage band which can really help you a lot. All students don't need a Mac Book Air but it would really help them if they did have one. Since it is so light and takes so little space, it is very portable and you can just put it in your backpack easily. This way you can take your laptop to all subjects without having to hold extra stuff and carrying a lot of weight on your back.

Investigate Part 1

The Mac Book Air is an ultra portable notebook made from Apple. This ultra thin laptop is 0.16 inches at its thinnest and 0.76 inches at its thickest. Weighing only 3 pounds, this laptop still has everything your previous macs have, only better. Every little detail that could be streamlined has been made so it is at its thinnest yet still giving maximum performance. Even if it is as thin as your index finger, it still has a 13.3 inch wide screen, LED display, a full size keyboard and a large multi touch track pad. Just because it is really thin and weighs nothing, it doesn't mean that it loses some of its features. From a slimmer hard drive to strategically hidden I/O ports and everything in between. Everything in the Mac Book Air has been considered and redesigned. Truly, Mac Book Air is built for the wireless world. Mac Book Air comes with 802.11n Wi-Fi which allows you to rent movies of the apple store and install software wirelessly from another computer or mac. This notebook comes with an isight built in camera with microphone, 2GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, and a Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB L2 Cache. It also comes with a back lit keyboard with a built in light sensor so you wont have trouble working in the dark. The multi touch track pad allows you to rotate, zoom, swipe and scroll with just a flick of a pinch. It also comes with Bluetooth 2.1 and and Apple's new Remote Disc technology which allows you to access another mac's or pc's optical hard drive. The display is 1280-by-800 resolution so it gives crisp and bright images in its slimmest form. The full size keyboard has the same crisp keys like the one on mac book. But mac book air is better. The designers added a backlit key illumination. This makes the keys on the keyboard light up automatically when it gets dark using a light sensor. The Mac Book Air might be a little pricey. It sells for 1799.99 USD in Best Buy, 1794 USD in Amazon, 1919 USD in @mpuDirect and 3098 USD at Apple.com, but every penny is worth it since the Mac Book Air really is an extraordinary laptop.

5 ways you can use Twitter in the classroom or for education
Twitter is a micro-blogging and social networking service for friends, family and co-workers to stay in touch with each other. today i joined twitter and i found it quite fun! here are 5 ways i think it can be useful in the classroom or education.
1) Twitter can be a good way to spread a message around the whole classroom, to the teacher or even the whole school! If you want to tell someone something, you can just type it in and update it! The other people will get the message too and they can reply back!
2) This can also be fun because you can create stories and poems on twitter. Each person tells one part of the story and then the next person continues.
3) It is a great way to stay in touch with your friends, family and relatives. You can even stay in touch with your classmates and teachers!

New Technology
In my holidays my uncle got a new Plasma T.V made by Sony. is it 42 inches wide and is a flat T.V. To go to the Sony website and learn more about Sony, click here. If you want to see my uncle's 42 inch plasma flat screen T.V, click here, or here. to read a review about it click here. I think this is a great T.V and has interesting features. It has changed my uncle's life a lot because they have just moved to the U.A.E some time ago and there was nothing to do. Now that they have something to watch and enjoy. The only thing i don't like about it is that it is 1 megapixle. If it were 2 mp then it would be better but 2mp is only in the 46 inch one. If they release a newer version of this T.V, i would recommend that they put in a U.S.B slot so that they can play movies or anything straight from the usb. They should also make the 42 inch plasma T.V a 2 mp T.V for better resolution and crisper photos.
This T.V has a lot of features. To learn about them visit this page. I think everyone should have this T.V because you can do a lot of things like pause the program even is it is broadcasted and you can even pause it and then play back everything you missed. it is 1megapixel but the pictures are excellent, wonderful and crisp. i think everyone should have this t.v and i like it very much.
